If you enjoy trekking and nature, this experience is a must. It will take you to one of the most breathtaking viewpoints of the Torres del Paine.
The adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Puerto Natales, followed by our journey to Torres del Paine National Park. Our first stop will be at Laguna Amarga Gate, where we will register our entrance tickets before continuing to the Welcome Center, the starting point of our trek. On arrival, the guide will provide safety instructions to ensure a pleasant and secure experience. The first hour and a half consists of a steady ascent, with some gentler sections and low vegetation, until reaching the "Paso de los Vientos" (Wind Pass). From there, we will descend for about 30 minutes to reach the Chileno Mountain refuge, where we will take a short break. The trail then continues for about an hour through lenga forests running parallel to the Ascencio River, which we will cross several times and follow along most of the way. The final section features a 300-meter incline and challenging rocky terrain, with some forested areas during the first 25 minutes. The last stretch is an exposed, vegetation-free trail over loose ground, offering stunning views of the upper valley as we gain altitude. Once we reach our goal — facing the imposing granite towers — we will take time to photograph and fully appreciate the landscape. The descent follows the same trail. At the end of the excursion, passengers will be transferred back to Puerto Natales and dropped off at their respective accommodations.
